Pre-Sentence Reports (PSR) provide judges with the most accurate and up-to-date information available for the purpose of sentencing the defendant. Report preparation involves an extensive investigation of the following:
- Risk and Needs Assessment
- Circumstances of the criminal offense
- Offender's criminal record
- History of drug and alcohol abuse
- Social history
- Restitution issues
- Victim impact issues
